📄 Terms and Conditions – Canada Scan 3D

Welcome to CanadaScan3D.com. By accessing or using our website and services, including the rental of 3D laser scanning equipment, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

  • “Company” refers to Canada Scan 3D.

  • “Customer” refers to any person or organization that rents equipment from Canada Scan 3D.

  • “Equipment” includes all hardware and accessories provided for rental.

  • “Rental Period” refers to the time between equipment pick-up or delivery and return.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to enter into a rental agreement in Canada. Proof of identification may be required.

3. Reservations and Deposits

  • All reservations are subject to availability.

  • A refundable security deposit of CAD $5,000 is required before dispatch of equipment.

  • The deposit will be refunded within 5–10 business days after the return, subject to inspection.

4. Rental Period

  • The Rental Period begins on the agreed delivery/pick-up date and ends when the equipment is returned.

  • Late returns may incur additional daily fees unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the rental cost.

6. Use of Equipment

  • The equipment must be used according to manufacturer guidelines. 

  • The Customer is responsible for all damage, loss, or theft during the rental period.

  • No modification or tampering with the equipment is allowed.

7. Liability

Canada Scan 3D is not liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from equipment use.

  • Any project delays, data loss, or financial losses related to scanner use.

8. Returns and Inspections

  • Equipment must be returned in the same condition it was received.

  • A full inspection will be conducted upon return.

  • Any damage may result in partial or full forfeiture of the deposit and/or additional charges.

9. Ownership

All rented equipment remains the sole property of Canada Scan 3D. No transfer of ownership is implied.

10. Privacy

We collect and use customer data only as outlined. We do not share your information with third parties without consent.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Toronto, Ontario.

12. Changes to These Terms

Canada Scan 3D reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with the revision date.
